River Cruising in the fall

by in Travel Specials on August 26, 2019

When you #RiverCruise in the fall, you get to see things from a slightly different perspective. Case in point – this lovely castle in Cochem, Germany!

In the other times of the year, you’ll get a beautiful view of the courtyard, but in the fall you are treated to this spectacular display of the season.

When we were there, it was a little cool and I wore my winter coat. (something that I don’t get to do very often now that I live in Southwest, Florida) We were able to sample specialties from the harvest that had recently taken place, and their onion tart! Yummy ๐Ÿ™‚

Another advantage of gliding down the rivers in the fall, is that it’s shoulder season. That means you have the opportunity to save a little bit of money! Never mind that I always end up spending on an additional experience, or adding a pre or post hotel stay…but I’m getting more for my dollar.

If you would like to talk about river cruise options, or any travel related topic, why don’t you give me a call?

I’d love to chat with you!

Donโ€™t wait to start planning your next vacation!
